Blyde Mountain County House is a beautiful guest house situated only 15 km from Hoedspruit. Nestled between lemon orchids and the Blyde River.

The vast property allows for tranquil walks as far as the river where an array of birds and wildlife can be seen. Our Guests can also enjoy relaxing afternoons by the large elevated swimming pool under the much loved Marula tree.

Should you choose to venture out, there is a wonderful variety of activities in the area catering to all types of interests including Big 5 game drives, animal rehabilitation tours, Blyde River boat trips, white river rafting and spectacular hot air ballooning experiences over the canyon.

The guest house is the perfect location to stop over before going to the Kruger National Park or to visit the park as a day trip. It is also near the world famous Panorama Route which includes landmarks such as God's Window, The Pinnacle, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondawels.

The guest house has 15 rooms which are individually decorated with attention to detail, and include a king-size or twin beds. DSTV, air conditioning, wi-fi, tea and coffee trays and organic amenities provide the finishing touches to each room.

Breathtaking mountain views surround the terrace where all meals are served.

Shuttle service is available from the airport to Blyde Mountain Country House and back. The cost is R300,00 per person (one way).
