Chiropractic is a health profession specialising in the diagnoses, treatment and prevention of Mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.

"Dr Carina Fernandes studied her Masters Degree in Chiropractic at the University of JHB and initially decided to get into the Chiropractic profession due to a big influence from the 20 years she spent competing in the Dancing World.

Carina enjoys treating cervical spine conditions such as migraines, headaches and radiculopathy and has a passion for working with infants and children in their early years of life treating conditions such as colic, reflux and not reaching their milestones.

Her 20 years in the Dancing world has aided her in practicing Chiropractic and having a passion for treating a variety of dancing Injuries as well as working with people and children"

I incorporate dry needling into my treatment protocol with the adults and that together with my adjusting of the spinal vertebrae and pelvis and soft tissue of the surrounding muscles - gives great results! My goal is to have my patients feel comfortable and walk out feeling like they can tackle the world
