The Reception

For the wedding reception our dining room is provided. Accommodates up to 60 guests. All tables are set up with white table cloths with the necessary plates, glasses etc plus our traditional silver cutlery and cloth napkins.

Choices of set menus or high teas can be discussed. In order not to inconvenience our staying guests, wedding receptions can only be held during the late morning on Saturdays as our dining room is used for breakfast until 10:30 and would need to be set up again for dinner from 16:30 at the latest.

Accommodation

If the majority of our rooms are being utilised for out of town wedding guests we will close the hotel to other guests and are then able to use any of the other hotel facilities and areas for the wedding.

Although our tea garden is very attractive as a possible venue, the weather cannot be guaranteed nor an invasion of vervet monkeys, and therefore we are reluctant to propose this area.

We are able to offer special discounts on our room rates for wedding guests depending on group size, the bride and the bridesmaids if they wish to stay over the night before or for the couple after the wedding.

As it is always difficult to visualise how it will look we suggest that you come and have a look at the property to be able to make the right decision for your special day!
