The natural area around the golf course and the estate grounds is home to various indigenous species of wildlife and prolific birdlife with one of the largest varieties of tortoise species in South Africa, all complemented by the natural Fynbos and Renosterveld flora.
The Estate presents a range of facilities that are available to estate residents, members, accommodation guests as well as visitors. These include an 18-hole Gary Player Designs Black Night golf course, a mashie course, a driving range, swimming pools, tennis courts, cycling and jogging tracks, a fully equipped gym, a spa, clubhouse with restaurant and bar, bowls green and putt-putt course.

Langebaan Country Estate has over 40 luxury self-catering units, from 2 – 8 sleeper Golf Lodges to 4 sleeper Golf Suites. All Lodges and Suites include a lounge, dining area, kitchen, fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, cutlery, crockery, washing machine, tumble dryer, plasma TV, satelite TV, music system, DVD player, patio & braai facilities - the perfect haven after a long day of enjoying the activities on the Estate. Children under the age of 12 stay for free.
Kids
Langebaan Country Estate is a family-friendly destination. The estate offers a multi-purpose sports field and several play areas around the property for residents and visitors. The restaurant has a dedicated kiddies menu and there are several venues around the estate where kiddies parties can be held, with options for activities designed specifically to keep them entertained.
An extensive children’s entertainment centre at the Golf Suites, which has various games available, with table tennis and a pool table, as well as Wii, PlayStation and other consols. For the youngsters we have a climbing and sliding modular system plus a craft centre with a mini kitchen, boys tool workshop and plenty of arts. The toddler section is soft and spongy, keeping the little ones safe and sound. Outdoors, on the grass area, we have a large trampoline and jungle gym plus see-saw and swings.
