The studio prepares all students in their different fields for annual examinations, competitions and stage performances. Annual examinations in all disciplines are taken as well as a Dance Eisteddfod at Theatre Dance Association and Celebration of Dance.
Students attend workshops, dance in annual productions at the Artscape theatre, etc, and participate in fundraising events and Medal Test in their disciplines. An annual show also takes place.
Lmri Stoltenkamp
Trained in Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Tap, graduating as a dance teacher in the Theatre Dance Association. Lmri has been dancing since the age of 3 years old. Trained under Karen Freeman, completed every AIDT Modern Exam up to and including Advanced.
I have been fortunate enough to represent South Africa at the Grand Prix Italia Competition in Italy (2002), Danced at the ICC Cricket Word Cup in 2003, competed in the SADTA Hip Hop Championships in Sun City and Cape Town, and I have been privileged to perform at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown with the Northern Dance Project since 2011.
Leila Meyer
Leila began dancing at the age of 10. Since then, she has trained in modern, hip hop and contemporary. She has passed a number of AIDT and TDA modern dance exams, as well as completing 3 years of contemporary training at the University Of Cape Town School Of Dance.
Leila has been a part of a number of crews that have competed in and won a number of national competitions such as SADTA Cape Town National Championships, Battle of the Giants, Dance to Las Vegas, Masters of Rhythm, Street Rhythm, African Hip Hop Indaba, to name a few.
Reece De Kock
Reece has been dancing for 7 years, Hip Hop being his main genre of dance.He has competed in various competitions both nationally and internationally, from IDO qualifiers in Johannesburg where he placed 3rd with the team Revolution to World Hip Hop International Championships in the USA where he placed 12th in the world with the team Untimitive.
Reece has received his training from a wide variety of renowned Teachers and Choreographers such as, Di Ross, Jen Stretch, Craig Johnson, Nicholas Madden, Jodie Jackson, Rudi Smit, and Hoze Diego.
Georgia Juries
Georgia has 5 years experience as a Zumba instructor and has also qualified as a NIA technique instructor ( fusion of dance, martial arts and yoga). She worked as a circuit coach and weight loss coach at various gyms and recently graduated as a Holistic Health and Life Coach with The Natural Wellness Academy.
