ABOUT
I started out making party packs for children’s school class parties, parents contact me and give me a full break down of the class, this being how many children and any special needs, I make up a party pack for each child consisting of homemade chocolates, sweets, a cup cake and a still flavoured water (due to all the sugar they consume) I will also include salty snacks according to what the parent requests’ a box of popcorn too’. If parents have a meeting they cannot miss or they are away on business “Don’t stress we have you covered” I deliver the party packs to the school at the time arranged, this makes the child feel special when it is unexpected, I will also deliver party packs to home parties according to the theme and make platters for parents attending children’s parties.
Once this took off I had requests from parents for cupcakes, cakes, platters, office parties, boardroom meetings, church functions almost any function besides weddings. Due to me doing all my own work I prefer the numbers of guests/children to be not more than 25 to 30 guests.
Two Cows Down also specializes in themed cookies being it for party themes or business logos.
I make bespoke chocolates for special occasion gifts, weddings, parties, business, table gifts for functions for the ladies.
I have a rice paper/edible paper printer for cakes and cookies printed according to your theme.
Neighbourhood bakeries like Two Cows Down use fresh ingredients and nothing is made in bulk or frozen to be used for an order later in the year. Preferences have changed over the years and getting good quality food from a small baker has increased due to people being aware of healthy eating habits from a young age.
